HOW TO OPT-OUT

Option 1: Email Us

To opt out, email us at info@gadim.org with the subject line: "Opt-Out Request" and include your name and contact information, and an indication that you would like to opt out of: sale, sharing/targeted advertising, or profiling.

Option 2: Use a Universal Opt-Out Signal

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar browser-based signals where required by law. If you have GPC enabled in your browser, your opt-out preferences will automatically be recognized.

Global Alliance for Disability in Media and Entertainment ("GADIM", "we", "our" or "us"), a non- profit corporation, creates film products and content to promote
and employ persons with disabilities in mass media through its films, movies, tv program, and audio content highlighted on its website and social media feeds. We recognize the
importance of data privacy and security. Privacy is a matter of trust, and we are committed to managing personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently. We want our website users,
visitors, current and prospective clients, job seekers, employees and other business partners (collectively, "you" or "your") to understand the ways we collect, use and share personal data about you.

This Privacy Notice ("Privacy Notice") governs the use of our website, www.gadim.org ("the Site"), applications, social media channels, other website
content, streaming services, products, goods, services, promotions, software, technology and any other materials that we may provide ("Services") and other services that link to, or
contain references to, this document and are published or made available by us and our affiliates as applicable. "Services" as used hereinafter shall include the Site. "Products" as used
herein means any products or services we may offer for purchase through the Site.

THE TYPES OF DATA ACQUIRED ABOUT YOU

Personally Identifiable Information(PII)

"Personally Identifiable Information" alone or in combination with other information or in certain contexts can be used to identify, distinguish or trace you or the device(s) (collectively, "Device")
used to access the Site is referred to in this document as "PII". PII, together with all other information about you and/or your Device(s) that we acquire is referred to collectively as your
"personal data." "Content" as used herein refers generally to any type of information, including text, images, video, whether sourced from you, us or third parties.

We acquire PII that may include, in certain contexts, your name, employer name, job title, postal address, zip code, email address, telephone number, social media name, profile. We also acquire your
IP address, User ID, and/or Device ID, which certain jurisdictions consider to be PII because it could be used to identify an individual or Device if it were combined with other identifying information.

Sensitive PII

In certain circumstances, such as when purchasing a Product or Services, you may provide a credit, debit, or payment account number, or other payment information which we recognize as more sensitive
than other PII. We generally do not request on or through the Site other Data that is often considered "highly sensitive," such as other financial account information (e.g., credit report information,
bank account numbers), personal health information (including gender, birthdate and age), or government issued identification numbers (e.g., social security number, drivers' license number, or passport
number). However, we will collect such Sensitive PII when necessary to offer you certain services or if you offer contractor services to, or apply for a job with us and/or receive an offer of employment.

Anonymous Data

Some of the personal data that we acquire cannot identify, distinguish or trace you or your Device, even if combined with other identifying information, and some Personal Data that could be considered
PII when combined with other identifying information is not used in a way that identifies, distinguishes or traces you or your Device, but is instead used in an anonymous way, often aggregated with
other anonymous Personal Data about other users.

WAYS WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA

In General

We collect only personal data that you provide to us voluntarily, and where applicable, with your consent. We take measures to ensure that we collect personal data for specified, explicit and legitimate
reasons only - namely, to provide products and Services to you and meet our legal obligations. We also take steps to limit the personal data we collect to only the minimum necessary to carry out our
business objectives.

We may collect your personal data when you:

  • Contact us by phone or online;
  • Register or create a user account;
  • Website interactions (such as pages visited, utilizing our chat feature, and purchase or order history);
  • Interact with, share or link to our social media pages (such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn);
  • Sign up for our newsletters or alerts;

  • Purchase a Product or Services, including through our website;
  • Participate in surveys or promotions;
  • Provide reviews, ratings or feedback;
  • Attend a marketing event that we may host;

In these instances, we may collect personal data such as: your name, email address, postal address (or other geolocation information), phone number, demographic information and usage data. If you purchase any Services from us as applicable, we will collect the information necessary to complete that transaction, such as, your name, email address, residential address, and payment information.

Log Files

We may use log files to record data about each users’ visit to our Site. When you visit the Site, we may collect the IP (Internet Protocol) address connected to your computer (or the proxy server you use to access the World Wide Web), your computer operating system, the type of browser you are using, browser version, the pages of our Site or Services that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics, mobile device operating system (if you are accessing the Site using a mobile device), as well as the name of your ISP (Internet Service Provider) or your mobile carrier. We may use this information to analyze overall trends to help improve the Site. We do not share log data with third-parties, unless required by law to do so.

Telephone Consumer Protection Act

If you enter your telephone number into our Site or app or otherwise share it with us, you expressly agree to receive communications from us, our agents, representatives, affiliates, or business
partners, via e-mail, SMS or text messages, phone calls, video calls, and push notifications. You further expressly agree that these communications may be generated using automated technology,
such as an automatic telephone dialing system, or artificial or prerecorded voice, even if your telephone number(s) is/are listed on any corporate, state, or federal Do-Not-Call lists.

You represent that for the telephone number(s) that you provide to us, you are the current subscriber or customary user and that you have the authority to provide the consent described above to be contacted at such
number(s). You agree to promptly alert us whenever you stop using a particular telephone number. Standard charges may apply to the receipt of these calls or text messages.

Data Acquired Elsewhere

We may also acquire your personal data offline or otherwise outside of the Site. For example, we may purchase, use, supplement or otherwise acquire such personal data from third party data
suppliers, such as public databases, social media platforms, vendors, suppliers, etc.. We reserve the right to merge or commingle this other personal data with your personal data collected on

Google Analytics and Google AdWords

We may use Google Maps™ mapping service, Google Analytics, any other analytics service provider to optimize the Site's service and experience, and Google AdWords, Google Maps, Google Analytics,
Google's invisible reCAPTCHA application, or any other analytics service provider that uses cookies, tags, or other technologies to collect data about a user's behavior and their mobile devices.
We do not use Google Maps mapping service to collect or process data that uniquely identifies an individual except as needed to offer products and services to you, including the hosting of your content.
Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracts and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our service and may use the
collected data to personalize and contextualize the ads of its own advertising network. This data is shared with other Google services. Google AdWords is a remarketing service provided by Google Inc.

You can opt-out of having your activity while on our Site made available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics

your request to Us via the How to Contact Us section below. As noted above, this may necessitate deletion of your data or your account with us.

PERSONAL DATA RETENTION

We may retain your personal data for at least as long as you transact business with us, as such data retention is necessary to provide you products and Services, and, as applicable, maintain the
Site or other Services. we may retain and use your personal data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations and policies, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

DATA TRANSFERS

Data Transfers from EU/EEA and UK to US or Elsewhere

aware that China does not distinguish between based upon an individuals' permanent place of residence or citizenship.

Please be informed that we may transfer your personal data from China to the US for the purposes of: (a) providing products or services to individuals in China; (b) assessing or analyzing behavior of
individuals in China; or (c) for other purposes to be specified.

COLLECTION AND USE OF DATA FROM INDIVIDUALS UNDER THE AGE OF 18

The Site and Services are primarily intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. Users who are ages 13 through 17 must have the permission of, and be directly supervised by, their parent or
guardian to use the Site. Persons under the age of 13 may create an account and use the Site or Services only with express electronic consent of a parent or a guardian. This Privacy Notice governs
data collection and use for users over the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a person under 13 years old without verification of parental consent, then
we will take steps to remove that information from our servers. Data associated with users under 13 will be collected and used according to our COPPA Privacy Notice in addition to the terms in
Privacy Notice generally to the extent not inconsistent therewith.

USER CONTENT

Our Services may allow our Users to post content, images, graphics, etc. on our Site or Services. Users of our Services or Site are solely responsible for the content of messages they post through our
Services. Users should be aware that any personal information they voluntarily disclose (e.g., username, e-mail address, phone number) through our Services can be collected and used by others and may
result in unsolicited messages from other people. You are responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these instances.

We constantly strive to align our data security practices with industry-accepted standards for securely handling, transmitting and storing personal data. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data

Minnesota, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia. This Supplemental Privacy Notice is incorporated into and forms part of our Privacy Notice.

The following additional state privacy laws have been enacted and will be incorporated into this Supplemental Privacy Notice as they take effect:

contractors or affiliates of the foregoing.

Subject to certain limitations and depending on your state of residence, you have the following rights with respect to the personal information that we collect about you:

1. Right to Know.You can ask us to give you information about our collection and use of your personal information. Specifically, you can request that we provide you one or more of the following:

we will attempt to verify your identity. We may ask you for additional information to help us verify your identity, including by asking you to confirm other personal information you have provided to us.
We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period (up to an
additional 45 days). We may deny your request for reasons permitted by law, including our inability to verify your identity. If we deny your request, we will state the reason(s) why.

Subject to certain restrictions, you can have an agent exercise your rights for you. If you have an agent exercising your rights, that person must provide to us your written authorization allowing
them to make such a request on your behalf. We reserve the right to deny the agent 's request if we are not reasonably able to confirm proper authorization and/or verify your identity as the requestor.

Sharing and Sale of Personal Information About California Residents

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act), certain disclosures of

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Information

If you're a resident of or are located within the EEA, UK or Switzerland, our legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described above will depend on the personal information

Supplemental Privacy Notice for Individuals in Australia

If you are in Australia, please be aware that we operate in the United States. You have certain data privacy rights, as defined in the Australian Privacy Act of 1988 ("Australian Privacy Act").
Your privacy rights relative to your relationship with us may vary depending on circumstances. This Privacy Notice applies to our Site and Services.

We require our subcontractors to undertake a similar obligation. Supplemental Privacy Notice for Individuals in Brazil

This Brazilian Data Protection Privacy Notice ("Notice") supplements our Privacy Notice and applies to anyone located in Brazil and/or any personal data stored on or in servers located within Brazil. This Notice also applies to personal information that forms the content for our products, App and Services, to contractors, to our marketing activities and to users of our products, App, and Services.

This Notice uses certain terms that have the meaning given to them in the Brazilian Data Protection Law of August 2018 (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, "LGPD"). "Personal data"
is defined by the LGPD as any "information regarding an identified or identifiable natural person" (Art. 5, I).

Subject to certain exceptions, you have certain rights regarding your personal information, as described below. Under the LGPD you have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process or not your personal data;
  • Request access to your personal data that is being processed by us;
  • Rectify incomplete, inaccurate or outdated personal data;
  • Request the anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data or data processed in noncompliance with the provisions of the LGPD;
  • Request data portability;
  • Be informed about third parties with whom your personal data has been shared;
  • Request a review of automated decisions that affect your interests.

In case your rights have been violated, collect all the evidence you have, such as emails, message app prints, newspaper articles, communication from the organization about the incident, among other proof.

With your information in hand, contact the responsible company immediately, inform them of what happened, write down the service data (protocol number, guidance received, etc.), and store the messages and emails forwarded. In case you do not receive a solution for your complaint, contact the competent authority to report the violation of your rights.

In case your request is not met by the responsible processing agent, you may file a complaint with ANPD, following the instructions available in the service channels https://www.gov.br/anpd. The establishment of an administrative process against the organization is possible, and it may culminate with the application of the sanctions provided in LGPD.

This Supplemental Privacy Notice applies to individuals in Canada and supplements our main Privacy Notice. It outlines additional information required by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This Notice is incorporated into and forms part of our Privacy Notice.

Applicability of PIPEDA

If you are located in Canada, your personal information will be handled in accordance with PIPEDA. For details on the types of personal data we collect, how we use, share, retain, and safeguard your data, and your rights and choices, please refer to our main Privacy Notice.

Alberta and British Columbia have their own private-sector privacy laws, the Personal Information Protection Act (Alberta) and the Personal Information Protection Act (British Columbia).
While these provincial laws may apply to organizations operating entirely within those provinces, we are based in the United States and handle your personal information in accordance with Canada's
federal law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), including for residents of Alberta and B.C. Québec has also adopted its own privacy legislation, and
we comply with Québec's Law 25 in addition to PIPEDA where
applicable.
